About Dr Suresh Damodharan
Dr. Suresh Damodharan is the Founder and Organising secretary of DECON. When Dr. Suresh Damodharan returned to India after his study in the UK, he wanted to share the updates on medicine to his colleagues and students. DECON is one among the many such educational initiatives. Dr. Suresh Damodharan works as the consultant diabetologist and endocrinologist at Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore and an honorary consultant at Derriford hospitals, Plymouth. He is currently the vice president of the Endocrine Society of India ESI.
In the past 8 years of DECON, Dr. Suresh has done his hard work in setting up a name and standard for the conference. As we started our virtual conferences, international organizations like the International Society for Endocrinology ISE Switzerland, ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies AFES Philippines, South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies SAFES Colombo, Association of British Clinical Diabetologists ABCD UK, etc have been collaborating with DECON to take it to higher levels.
Apart from DECON, we have also conducted conferences like Nursing DECON and Para DECON, Acute medicine meets, Patient education programs, etc as part of Dr. Damodharan’s vision.
